Although life brings us many untimely struggles, students are expected to be on time at each scheduled session. To be tardy or absent for any session puts a burden on others.
There is one 14 hour weekend session that will be scheduled for "make up" hours per every 6 months. This is a catch-all time frame for those that may have missed a chunk of a weekend, were late for a session or for those that wish to get in more time practicing with one another. These will be led by Tanna Torkelson, Lead Trainer for YTT at Threads of Wellness and will not included added faculty.
Getting the most out of each session:
Attending each scheduled session, consecutively and having any homework completed on time (such as reading, short writing assignments and/or typed/written sequences that may be assigned).
Arriving before start time for each session. Arriving before class time, well rested, well nourished and ready to be active and alert for the duration of each session will ensure the most pleasant experience. YTT weekends have been coined as "brutal" on the body as much work is done to learn postures individually and use our own bodies to demonstrate for other YTTs. This results in long held postures leading to fatigue, muscle soreness, etc.
To the previously mentioned point: Bring snacks, drinks, pack a cooler of mini-meals, etc as sessions will not always break for a time to eat.
*REFUND DETAILS* By making your first or total payment, you reserve your space for YTT. Refunds are not granted to YTT Students once they have begun participation in YTT.
To set up a payment schedule or to pay with check, please reach out to Tanna Torkelson 440-839-6199.
YTT Students assume responsibility for making up any missed hours from YTT to standards agreed upon by Threads of Wellness and the Yoga Alliance. Although this is NOT preferred and pushes off your 200 Hour Certification Completion and Certificate, this can be done within 2 years of beginning YTT at Threads of Wellness.
