JOIN US AT LAKEVIEW PARK ON SELECT SATURDAYS (JUNE-JULY) FOR ASHTANGA BASED POWERFUL YOGA FLOW
Flow through the the oldest known powerful flow sequence with us! We aspire to complete the full Primary series of Ashtanga with each class but as we sometimes break postures down, we often have a “modified” form of the series.
Also known as Yoga Therapy, this series is a set sequence of postures designed to bring strength, flexibility, and endurance to the body.
This class is physically demanding in strength and flexibility therefore, if these are areas you are looking to enhance, you will only create more flexibility as well as more strength throughout your body as a whole.
Although this is not a beginners class, it is designed around the needs and vulnerabilities of every body. It is a brilliant alternative to cross-fit, circuit training or boot camp classes…ideal for anyone needing strength, endurance, flexibility, cardiovascular and core work.
Bring a sweat towel and bottle of water or Gatorade type drink to stay hydrated as this is a 90 minute class.
June-July sessions are held at Lakeview Park following our Free Yoga Basics Class. Payments for this class ($10) can ONLY be made online before class. No cash, check or credit card will be handled at class time. NO EXCEPTIONS.
If below 70 degrees or raining, classes are indoors in the Sunset Terrace in the center of the park. If weather permits, we will hold class on the west platform of the park (west of picnic shelters).
